It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium and its products. Radon gas is found underground and in every state. It can easily get into your home and you would not even know it. But, you can use a radon test to determine if you have a radon problem.
Modular Construction Corp. will test each and every home we build, to protect you and your family against this dangerous killer. Each of our homes is built with a Radon pipe as part of your home. If your Radon level is above 4 pCi/L, which is the highest allowable rating for Radon, we can connect Radon mitigation devices that will bring the Radon Level down below the allowable standard of 4 pCi/L. We have to wait until your house is completed and the basement is closed in, before we can run the test.

Radon is a natural part of the ground. It is higher in some places than other places. There is no way to tell prior to building your home. Beware of granite counter tops. Granite is a stone that comes from the earth. Some granite contains more Radon than others. If your going to buy a granite countertop, you must find out what the Radon levels are prior to you installing them in your house.
